This computer takes performance a step up from the fanless industrial computers we also sell and makes use of our 30 years of experience with servers, Internet, and telecom. We only offer 2u because it is the most compact we can get without noisy fans. We choose quiet and efficient power supply and CPU fans and replaced the case’s 80mm front fans with quieter redundant variable speed fans. Internal wiring gets neatened and extra fastening. This is a sweet spot of quiet, performance, and reliability.
